All was impeccable, leaving us with nothing to fault.

The breakfast was not good. The butter was mouldy. The shower has no shower curtain and the entire floor gets wet! The location is far from the city centre. Its a long hike unless you drive there and pay for car parking.

Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, with rooms that were spotless and with sweeping views over the Umbrian valley. Finally, the hotel's location quite far from the city centre made for a peaceful and serene atmosphere, especially as it was situated above an olive grove. I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel.

The outside restaurant is particularly spacious and offers a beautiful view just below the city walls. Rooms are basic but clean, and an excellent continental breakfast is served every day. The swimming pool, surrounded by olive and apricot trees, is a welcome sight in warm weather.

Some rooms might have issues with mold on the ceiling, which is rather uncomfortable for the guests.
